Don't discount the A&M O Line. They are arguably the best of the SEC. In turn, maybe SC defense is more potent.

Myles Garret. Simply put, he's going to be a big, big problem for teams. SC O Line was arguably one of the best of the SEC.

You cannot forget about the A&M RB corps. They will be forgotten in public thought, but that's a 3 headed monster.

SC needs a QB. Thompson isn't the answer.

Byrd is ridiculously fast. Holy hell he's faster than greased lightning.

Davis is hurt more than anyone had suspected. I thought he was going to show no effects of his injury but I was clearly wrong.

A&M with an AVERAGE defense may be shockingly good.

I'm stunned, really. What a way to start a season.

There was a lot of poor tackling by USC, sure. But the size mismatch with our receivers and the USC defenders was pretty substantial.

You see them start to double team him, and he was still getting in the backfield? I think the USC line is pretty salty, which makes it even more impressive.

A&M is still thin at linebacker. Aside from the starters, no one made a play. When Hilliard (starting Will, #46) went down with a dislocated ankle in the 3rd quarter, the defense struggled a lot.

Couple that with the injury to Shaan Washington and it's extremely fortunate that A&M has 3 cupcakes before Arkansas (still an SEC team).

They have kinks to work out, yes, but overall I was impressed with the aTm defense. Myles ahead of 2013.

Gotta luv your 'blind faith'. A win is a win, but (IF) your rebs put that same product on the field versus SEC teams, you are dead!!!

Bo was terrible by SEC 'Senior' QB standards.

Clowney made a heck of a difference for the entire SC defense

TAMU defense still not good. A good QB would shred them

TAMU has an offense to challenge any defense in the country

Auburn vs TAMU, both teams might score into the 60's

I'd say.

Our true freshman starting CB last night is 5-11, 162.

Texas A&M is just filthy good on the road also, it seems.

A bunch of people just grossly mis-analyzed both these teams in a big way.

I think Thompson is a good QB. And he did shred us to an extent. But we got pressure on him. And they ran it 22 times for 60 yards. Hell, last year anybody could run for 5 yards a play at any time on us. That was the biggest difference in our defense.

gotten it out of his system. Freeze's playcalling though and the damn near abandonment of Treadwell is mind boggling.

Freeze has the oddest play calling in the league. I don't get his system at all, wasting major talent.

Texas A&M on offense has not lost a beat. Better than what I was expecting/looked like midseason form. South Carolina was overrated.

SEC West still>>>SEC East

Definitely so in the first half. I was wanting him pulled out of the game for a few just to see what the back up could do. Glad they pulled it out, but they do have to improve before playing some SEC West teams.

Defense is full of head hunters. Keith Lewis #24 came in after Bryant was ejected and made some big tackles.

I was surprised at how poorly USCe ran the ball, but HBC is notorious for abandoning the run to early. I was also surprised how little A&M ran the ball 169 isn't bad but in a beat down like that you would think it would have been more.

Our screens are kind of an extension of the run game. And I was surprised a bit how many times we through it. But oh well, it worked.

I get that but screens won't work as well against a decent back 4 or 5. I felt like you ran it effectively when you tried to run it, but was surprised you didn't use it as a chance to work on that part of the offense.

The Head Ball Coach has jumped the shark. Some real WTF decisions on his part in this game.

Most surprising to me was how puny SC's defensive line looked. Lining up against the A&M o-line, they looked like high schoolers.

All three starting RB's are veterans. We know what they can do. Sumlin might have wanted to give our new QB some reps. Although he really had nothing else to prove after halftime.

I learned my preconceived notions are completely unfounded.

I thought UGA would score late on Clemson to go up 10.

Now, Im expecting Clemson to punish us between the Hedges. :\
