A&M found answers to all of the questions on their team. Ole Miss found answers late in the game after getting their act together.

A&M found out the potential of their team. That is what I mean by good questions.

"Just how good is this team?"

"How much can Hill improve?"

"Just how much better is this defense than last year?"

And then you have South Carolina questions

"Will Dylan Thompson make better decisions in the future?"

"Is the OLine going to play as they were expected to play?"

"Will the South Carolina secondary ever locate the middle of the field?"

I think Bo showed calm through adversity, shook out the cobwebs and took care of business. The Ole Miss D looked good. [/quote]

He didn't hit any receiver that wasn't wide arse open. By the fourth quarter boise tongues were dragging. He is same ole Bo.

The difference is some teams have good questions (A&M) and some teams have bad questions (South Carolina)

And some teams are just bad. Damn USCe y'all stink.

That the SECr brain-trust--once again--is not to be taken seriously.

Boy you sure told me. Golly.

We'll either get better, or we'll continue to be bad. It's stupid judging any team off one bad game.

No answered for RBs. No answer for OL. This no answer for running game. No answer for CBs. No answer for a QB to make the tough throws other than short wide open passes. Defense overall (line and safeties are elite) is as good as expected. WR are very good at the top.

South Crackalaky learned why they call them Texas arse to mouth last night, because that's exactly what they did. And made USCe like it!

A&M still has a potent offense, and a weak defense.

IMO it's somewhere inbetween. It's hard to judge just how good A&M's offense will be against a team that can get pressure and actually wrap up a tackle (no disrespect CNB, it was bad). Their line play seems to be improved but they could get absolutely torched by a QB who throws a nice downfield ball.

USCe shows the fruitlessness of preseason rankings. The Head Ball Coach has jumped the shark. Some real WTF decisions on his part in this game.

I'm still pretty shocked by it honestly. That was as bad a coached Spurrier team as I've seen in a long time.

quote:

Bo Wallace is a head case, and Ole Miss still runs a Harry High School offense. It will catch up to them, like it always does, but they will still give LSU hell.

Wallace looked much better in the 2nd half. He was trying to force way too much in the 1st half and it burned him. Hopefully he's gotten it out of his system. Freeze's playcalling though and the damn near abandonment of Treadwell is mind boggling.

Vandy turned the corner last year. Straight into an oncoming bus.

To be fair, Vandy I think only returned like 11 starters and they lost Matthews, Carta-Samuels, and some DLs. It's going to be real ugly for them before it gets better under Mason.

HBC might consider spending a little less time on the golf course and a night or two in the office...

I think we'll get better but you can't judge a team by its opening game.

Does SCar do live tackling drills during fall camp? Holy shite was that a poor display of tackling.

AM doesn't suck as bad as everyone thought or either South Carolina was ridiculously overrated.

I think it's the latter.

Vandy blows.

Ole miss will probably lose 5 games.

It sure was. Looked more like they were trying to cop a feel than tackle.

Pre-season predictions are worthless. More surprises likely in store this weekend.

It's very possible that not only UGA but UF or Mizzery can win the East.

James Franklin took the anchor with him to Penn. St.
Which is why Vandy couldn't "anchor down."

A&M has some play makers and is full of confidence from playing a very bad USCe team.
