He is right there. Its funny how acc officials call 4 holds and 3 chop blocks against uga week one, and sec officials have not called that many of either in all other games combined. Conference officials are a plague on cfb.

It's not just us. Holding basically doesn't exist in the SEC anymore

"I'm not allowed to say much about officiating. I guess the flag was an indication of how I'd been feeling about things for awhile," Richt said. "And I'll say this too: If we're really, really honest, and we're totally unbiased, when you watch film there's some things that we do that probably should've been holding called against us. Or should've been, this that or the other. I guarantee you, as many slices of film we're showing the officials about what we think should have been in our favor, there's just as many that should've been against us.

You could start a different thread with this and rustle all sorts of jimmies

If I am, then he is a stupid coach. It's one thing to do that stupid jumping up in down in the endzone in the UF game, but if he did it on purpose when his defense was getting pushed down the field, he really has lost control of Mark Richt.

I'm not sure he got a penalty on purpose, but we weren't getting pushed down the field at that exact moment. We had just forced a turnover that wasn't awarded to us.

It's not what Richt said, IMO. He had already had his say with Penn. He then got nose-to-nose with the other official. It was kind of in a threatening manner. Penn saw that and threw the flag.

First half, Auburn pretty much moved the ball at will. And I'm not sure, but I think we scored on that drive, I would have to go back and watch to be honest.

Look, I'm not a Richt basher, I think he's a damn good coach. But I can't believe he took a 15 yarder on purpose to fire up the team as several posters said.

As UGA fans say about the Murray TD, do you have any actual evidence that Harvey-Clemons recovered it?

I'm on my phone, but there's a picture in this thread that certainly makes it look that way. Certainly looks like JHC had the clearest possession. LINK

Eta- it also happened right in front of the UGA bench. Richt had a pretty good view of it

People keep saying that UGA definitely recovered the ball. What I saw was.......after the refs had already given it to Auburn. The UGA player was bent over trying to rip the ball out of the Auburn players hands. I think they both had the ball and the officials gave it to the team who was already on O.

Not debating that, my point is conference officials are bad for the sport. The have agendas. Its not a coincidence that acc officials didn't call hold against clemson...and believe me, i am not saying clemson doesn't hold.

Wagers obviously knew that was lie.

Wagers had his reputation to uphold.

LOL making fun of our "fat" coach when yours literally looks like he has 24/7 beer bloat.

That's only a poke at us if he just "looks like...", it isn't though because he HAS 24/7 beer bloat. Just stating a fact.

But unless something actually happened, how can you honestly call a penalty?
