Beating A&M is nothing to brag about.

But if you're comparing vandy to Bama, I guess they are similar due to the fact that both played in the national championship game without having won their conference.

Vandy is doing the same thing South Carolina did. What happened to them?

What LSU hasn't done in the new bat era....win a national championship.

So what does that make Texas A&M if they cannot beat LSU?

Clearly the #1 current team in the sport. They are who everyone in the conference strives to be.

Is Bama the #1 team in football currently? What timeframe are you considering and what weight are you giving to national titles, conference titles, wins, division titles etc. FSU has more BCS/CFP playoff wins in the last 2 years and FSU has more NCs in the last 2 years. OSU has more NC and CFB wins than Bama in the last 2 years. OSU has the same number of conference titles but more division titles. So I would rank the current top 3 in CFB as 1. Ohio State (current champ they have to be at the top), 2. FSU 3. Bama

Yes

100%

Though I'd have OSU ahead of Bama, clearly OSU is Bama's daddy.

but these days all they get to brag about is beating Aggy.

It's sad that you try and troll LSU, but all you really accomplish is reminding everyone that we own you.

No butt-hurt. That's just the only similarity I could think of.

Besides, butt hurt is so cliché'. It is used so freely, as you have done, that it loses all significant meaning. In fact, it's posted so much that one could assume the entire Rant is butt hurt.

I think those who post butt hurt are the ones with butts that hurt the most.

Maybe. Maybe not. Let's not forget that SC won the title in 2010, won it again in 2011, went to the finals again in 2012, set the record for most consecutive NCAA tourny and CWS wins... and in 3 years miss the tournament all together for the first time since 1999.

nothing is a sure thing, you're right. however, vandy has something to offer that no state school does...an elite education with very generous financial aid packages. add their recent success in getting guys drafted, they really have a huge competitive advantage

Nice work. You are rustling jimmies because Louisiana State fans see themselves as a baseball school. They know their role in football so they hold on to baseball every year like nobody else.
