So Vandy is to baseball what Bama is to football?

Clearly the #1 current team in the sport. They are who everyone in the conference strives to be.
I guess LSU is about the same in both sports. Gloating about past accomplishments, but these days all they get to brag about is beating Aggy.

Vandy isn't going anywhere either. They're going to still be really good next year despite losing a ton to the draft. This is going to be one of the best runs in modern college baseball.

Vandy just needs to learn from the past. If they win this year, they should NOT make their HC their AD and then hire someone on the current staff to take the HC job. Didn't work for LSU, didn't work for SC and it won't work for Vandy.

Can't argue that vandy is the team right now, major props to them. We are still a top 3-5 program though in my opinion, national seed almost every year just haven't been able to finish. 5 titles in 10 years was a hell of a stretch, and 6 of the last 25.

Nope. Not happening. I think David Williams is pretty universally loved. He has led Vanderbilt athletics a long way since becoming AD.

I think most of us here in SC thought Chad Holbrook was a can't miss hire. Talk about a resume ... his is just incredible - or rather it was, until he became a head coach.
He's got one more year.

I hope so. Next year will definitely be a rebuilding year, but I'm excited about the freshmen we have. I'm just worried about Corbs retiring.
