Minus the smart guys fouling to give up a win, it's pretty damn solid.

Nice job guys.

Excites me for next year even more.

I'm concentrating hard for next year and Mizzou.

I was saying yesterday that I think the SEC is a lot better at basketball this year than folks outside the league want to admit. There is a shite ton of talent pouring into the league the next few years so it should only continue to get better.

When you have a program like Auburn calling for Tournament or bust next year, it's safe to say SEC basketball is on the uptick.

Too bad Arkansas didn't win that would've been sick.

The players and coaches were finally allowed to play basketball.

The officiating during the SEC season made the games horrible to watch. AU-MSU in February was just awful. 55 fouls or something like that.

Hogs should have had it. That was a terrible no call towards the end of the game when the UNC guy drove the lane and knocked the Arkansas player down. Replay clearly showed he used a forearm to push off.....oh well....

Arkansas: This was the first time I've ever rooted for an Arkansas win in anything - feels really wrong - but y'all gave it hell and have my respect.

Kentucky: You just did what is expected, no news here.

Florida: Wish Mike White and company the best -- really hated to lose him at La Tech.

USCe: Un-frickin-believable.

Since LSU suffered from the Death (JJ) Penalty this year and didn't field a men's BB team ya'll give me someone to root for in the tournament.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

I preached it all year on here but nobody wanted to listen.

Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, South Carolina can play with any teams in the country. Vanderbilt can get hot and beat any team in the country. Tennessee, Alabama, and Ole Miss are all three very solid teams and would stack up against any other leagues middle of the pack teams and likely win.

And he took 5 steps before doing it.

Which is why the player just tossed the ball up...he was expecting a whistle for either a charge or a travel. Watch the replay and look at his face. He is more surprised that there was not a foul or walk call on him than anyone else in the arena.

Season ticket holders for LSU basketball really need to sue JJ for fraud. With the rich history and fertile recruiting grounds that LSU enjoys the last two seasons are inexcusable.

Can you imagine 2 SEC teams in the Final Four?

It could happen....

I hope the committee takes note. They have begrudgingly given us 5 teams in this year despite all the bitching and whining from people that the SEC was weak. Take the whole ACC, the whole Big East, the whole Big XII, they said. Who's still dancing, bitches?

That SEC Network money is really starting to pay off. Only so much $ you can pour into football, eventually it had to spill over.

Lots of solid coaching hires in recent years, and the recruiting has picked up. Good to see the bar being raised.

Bottom fell out on LSU but at least we have something to aspire toward.
