Just for discussion's sake, if he could come in and play right now would LSU, Florida, or for that matter Kentucky, Vandy, or Mizzou take him over their current QB?

If he got a real QB coach, could he tap the potential everyone thinks he possesses?

No, he gets a deer in the headlights look when the pressure is on.

He's better than Brandon Harris, that's for sure.

Can't blame him with the way that fan base has treated him.

No doubt, but then you look at what a player like Blake Sims did after working with a QB specialist in the off season (which Gus does not allow), it makes you wonder what might happen with JJ.

My God if he ever transferred to Bama and pulled a McElroy to win it all.

SECRant would cease to exist.

You Bama fans sure seem to have a need to read Auburn's board. You all have a shitty season and you're bored or something?

JJ needs a lot of work, if anything he has regressed mightily over the course of the year. Two seasons with a very good QB coach might help iron out some of the wrinkles.

I mean, I know Harris isn't great, but at least he throws the ball forward.

I think the battle would come down to who can throw a nicer interception

The Great Leader says we get 24 hours to enjoy a victory, so dammit, we're gonna take our 24 hours.

I honestly dont get what makes people think he has the potential to be a great QB. Hes big and can throw the ball far. Thats it. Makes bad decisions, is not accurate, not a great leader, not a great runner, not a leader.

He looks like Brodie Croyie under pressure. Assuming the fetal position and all.
