No. The top teams in the west only lost to good teams with the exception of LSU losing to Notre Dame. But Notre Dame is no pushover. Missouri lost to Indiana. There's a big difference.
And TCU has proven to be very underrated. BTW, they beat Minnesota pretty bad.

Indiana never was good this year. In fact, they only won 4 games. How in the hell did Missouri manage to lose to Indiana?

None of these teams showed up for these bowl games and you have to take them seriously. I bet if they played rematches all 3 teams probably win. On second thought, maybe not Ole Miss. They would probably have to be at full strength with Treadwell back at WR.
it's like LSU a couple of seasons ago against Clemson. They didn't play seriously and Clemson viewed it as a NC type game. They kept bragging all summer long about how they had beaten LSU and they barely won the game even against a lethargic LSU offense that season. I wish these teams would show up for these bowl games so the SEC overrated nonsense would stop.

No. I'm discussing facts. Did any team in the west lose to any bad team or below average team? The west may have gotten a lot of hype but it wasn't that much overrated.

Look, this thread never would have happened, but the west was running around talking about how weak the east was this year, and how great the west was. I believe several posters even said the last place west team would win the east. Wow. Things change, don't they? The west looks like crap now, and they want to fall back on saying they didn't prepare for their bowl games?

The West, despite the losses yesterday, is still easily the best division in college football.

We went from 4 of the top 5 teams in the country and self proclaimed GOAT division in college football to what happened that last couple of days.
Thats all.

Well it was pretty obvious to me early in the season that the west was down when you have LSU losing to the likes of MSU and Auburn.

What "crying"? If by crying you mean rightfully pointing out all year that the West was overrated you may want to look in the mirror and honestly look at who is crying now that the season has come to fruition.
