Yes, I am well aware of what it means. You seem quick to jump on Alabama for the very thing you defend AU against not being involved in. When both accusations are just a bunch of message board fodder.

You seem to be insinuating that Jeremy Pruitt did something illegal. All he did was urge a transfer to a school with better academic support. Something he'll desperately need if he has the slimmest of chances of making it. However, it seems some AU folks are suggesting Pruitt provided more.

The source of all of this is a message board post that was then "retracted". Other than possibly suggesting Page transfer, and putting him in contact with Foley High School, what has Jeremy Pruitt done. None of that is against NCAA rules.

What you describe IS illegal, you can not steer a recruit to a school, period. Pruitt is very close to the head coach. You have a high school AD filing a complaint.

Take the College programs out of it just for a second and I think the problem becomes more visible. It would seem that Mr. Paige has grade issues, so much so that he was held out of Spring Football by Florida HS Athletic rules. How is it possible that a kid that is apparently not eligible to participate in Fla Football going to participate in Alabama football? I think that is the question that is in play here....
