Fortunately, I did not bold random words. What this shows is that a FOI request was made to Alabama. That the PNJ has plans to follow this. That the NCAA is at least aware.

Now I have said since this first started "that NOTHING will happen" to Alabama. But I do think the player will be watched, the school Foley will be watched, etc. He will probable be the person hurt by this which I hate. You may not see additional transfers to Foley.

Maybe his parents and WHS coaches/guidance counselors should have done some preventative work and done something to help him the time LAST year.

they did what happens everywhere, even college. String them along for 3 years so they can get by and stay elligible, then the last year go into panic mode, do a bunch of stuff to pass them off to the next step.

Sounds just like the state of Alabama's public school system. It's broke and not one soul knows how to fix it.

Coach has left and another teammate tranferred about a week ago.

And Foley isn't in Bama's backyard like maybe Auburn High.

I like that the butthurt ADs claims are now Pruitt's words. Who knows what was actually said, how it was phrased.

As someone else posted in this thread, Washington HS has won a total of 11 games in 5 (FIVE) years.

Is there any wonder the HC left the program? Any kid with an ounce of talent in his body with a potential to play college ball would want to leave that sunken ship.

The butthurt AD knows his job is on the line. When you're the AD of a school who's football team has only won 11 games in 5 yrs, your arse is on fire.

Why did that kid transfer? was it anything to do with grades/coaching/football?

As much as you guys might think. Auburn High is not an Auburn recruiting hotbed

IDK, but maybe he wanted to be on a team that has a chance to win something.

Milton currently has two of the top receivers in the state on their team, one is a FSU commit (Isaiah Jones), the coaching staff at Milton is stable, they have a good program.

LSU fan and athletic director at a high school in Pensacola posted on a message board that one of his players (an Alabama recruit) was being steered to Foley High School because Foley was going to "work" with him academically to make sure he qualified.

Reason is Foley HS has a lower ratio of teachers to students. All Foley players attend first block class where they have extra teachers and tutors to help them. My son was National Honor Society and will attend/play at Birmingham Southern. I do not see anything wrong with it. DJ Fluker was brought here for the same reason. I hate Bama but other than how the recruiter possibly worded it...I see nothing wrong. I am positive Coach Watson would not change or alter any students grades.

Ah come on. Having a 5 star player transfer to Auburn's back yard, with Trooper and Luper's sons there in his ear 24/7. You don't think this helped flip a player?

Being friends with the coaches sons, the recruit could live at the coaches house with no NCAA problem. All he had to say, was that they were his friends and teammates.
