You might have been able to process this lame excuse if A&M's WR coach hadn't made a fool of himself on Twitter. Which is actually the point. Decommits happen all the time. A coach melting over it and running off other recruits as a result is comedy gold.

No argument that the twitter melt is comedy gold. It was dumb.

But I agree that Mazzone might be looking for a different QB also

Bama lost a top QB and RB prospect and barley a peep.

Trying shifting it. But we landed the Hawaiian qb that you went after that pissed of Tate. We lost a rb, but have a rb who is ranked #1 overall.

Plus, we're Bama. One player isn't going to make or break us. Aggies on the other hand, have the most screwed up QB situation, which a year ago y'all were bragging about. There's a huge difference between the situations.

Anyone bother to ask where this interview with Tate's father was?

I mean...other than the OP's imagination?

Billy Luicci probably had an interview with Tate's parents at an undisclosed site that never really happened.

Why would you even post this? Surely you realize how classless this makes your staff look.

So rather than continuing to seek this phantom QB, while also keeping lines of communication open with the (5* top rated dual threat) guy you already have in the boat, you ... don't?

I wasn't commenting on the difference between list height and whatever bullshite you're trying to tell yourself about optimal QB height. I was replying on your brother in off-purple's comment about the difference in actual height being two inches.

Aggy reading comprehension fail

Exactly. We'll see how it pans out. We tried the "all-in on the short dual threat QB" before... He tried to dictate terms and acted like a diva.

I just don't want to repeat the mistakes made with Kyler Murray recruitment.

You realize that was a joke, right? Ignoring 5* commitments in the hopes that you're going to maybe find something better is not a recruiting strategy.

It's stupid.

Well you are in the habit of getting rid of 5 Star QB's

Sorry. It's bound to happen when you switch OC's.

Will you be ok with it if we land a decent QB recruit who can stand in the pocket?

I will be.

After Elia's kidnapping and Oberyn's death against The Mountain, House Martell don't play.

don't know Roger, shouldn't our new OC be allowed to choose a qb that he wants?

Should a historically slightly above average OC be allowed to effectively revoke the scholarship offer of a five star quarterback we have been recruiting for two years for no other reason than he might not be the best fit for his scheme? No, no he shouldn't.

And since it's a do or be fired year for Sumlin, shouldn't he let Mazzone do whatever he wants?

Then why not fire Sumlin, promote Mazzone and save a shite ton of money?

Sumlin is the head coach, the aggregious institutional failures we've seen over the last two years are ALL on him.

With Sumlins buyout, please break down how paying 2 head coaches would save us money
