If Bama didn't have this entire fan base completely mind fricked I'd agree with you. My only hope is O has this team ready to block out the past not get eaten up if they fall behind early. One of the biggest issues for LSU in the past for this game was not being able to be mentally prepared once Bama went up. The entire sideline would just deflate.

I think and this is only my opinion here is that Coach O is light years ahead of Miles in doing this. One thing can be said is he is a great motivator. This won't be an issue here.

Can we borrow the standard Bama excuse and say that "only LSU can beat LSU"?

I'm excited to watch this game, hope it is a good one. I can only hope LSU wins, they are my team and I
will always think they can win.
Bama is the best team in the nation so no good luck from me because you don't need it.

I promise you they will make excuse, and they will piss and moan about every little thing they can think of. LSU is going to LSU.

Either way some always will. It is nature to do so after a loss, hell I saw in the meltdown thread a aTm
fan say they only lost because of the refs.

I myself have done it, but I see the challenge for LSU in our game, I will hope for the best.

Here is a very valid REASON we may lose this game- they may not be good enough. The fact is, we just don't know with all the schizophrenia of this season. The great thing is, we will all find out, one way or another.

Considering all that has gone on already this year, it would suck to lose again, but if our Tigers play with the same kind of effort and intensity we saw in 2012 and 2014, I'll still be happy and it will prove they are a very good football team. The way things have gone, if they come out fairing better than OM and A&M did in a close loss, and then win out, that's a pretty solid finish.

That said, I hope they pound Bama all night. That is highly unlikely, but damn it would be fun to watch. But based on the last decade of games in TS, it's also unlikely that Bama wins decisively, either. Here's to another great showdown, however it turns out.

To be fair, whoever loses, there will be NOTHING but excuses from both fanbases. Alabama loses, nothing but bitching and excuses. LSU loses, nothing but bitching and excuses from us too. That's just the way it is. Welcome to the SEC Rant.

This is fact. I have not heard one LSU fan make an excuse about officiating in the LSU vs Alabama series since the robbed PP7 INT against

So nothing about the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the last drive in 2014?

Why do you feel the need to eff up a good thread? Go screw your sister if you have nothing to contribute.

I don't make excuses for an organization I am not part of. I simply enjoy the games... cause you know. Fun.

Well yeah, that was a lot of horse shite, but we had opportunities after that. Jennings could have run for the first down instead of heaving it in the endzone in overtime.

The fact that we were even in the game with Jennings at QB just speaks to the rivalry.
