Jeez, chill out cowboy, I grade this team harshly too on technically, but not as a lost cause. They are green, only 7 deep, just learning to play together, lack tenaciousness, and have tons of fundamental issues..

The real fun begins next season..there will be no excuses then..and none will be needed!

Next year. The SEC is improved this year. Mickey and Martin are good, but far from great. Johnny needs talent to win, same as any coach. That UK team with Nerlins was much more talented than this team and they sucked. This team is very similar. Subpar point guard play will get you beat every time against good teams. Johnny Jones is paying the price for running off Hickey. That was not a smart move.

You realize Kentucky was on a 5 game winning streak when Nerlins went down with an ACL vs Florida. Nerlins injury killed our chances for the NCAA's (plus Harrow at PG was an utter disaster).

Gray has been worse than Harrow in our losses. And that UK team may not have made the tourney even if they had Noel. Point guard play is so important.

We have some talent. We just aren't ready to take that next step yet. Too inconsistent.

The way this season is going, we would probably lose to MSU, and beat UK.

Wildcat Mike always trolling. Better not count it as an undefeated season quite yet bud. A&M, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt as we speak have given the Cats very competitive games this season.

See y'all on February 10th in the PMAC and then we will see for sure if LSU basketball is actually back

We've had maybe 5 players in 3 seasons that would start for other SEC programs
i hate to start infighting but, you're off base. lsu had top 4 sec talent last season and didn't even make the tourney. this season only ky has more talent and it's not looking good at this point.

But LSU has not had top 3 talent these last two seasons. that's just fact
and you are factually wrong. name the teams last season that had more talent and show your work

what....in....the.....

m&m are as good of a frontcourt tandem as there is in the nation. there are multiple scouts watching them at every game. good grief.

holy cow. josh gray is clearly an upgrade. hickey never did anything close to leading the nation in scoring at the juco level. 35ppg

LSU is 7 deep on a good night...

Mickey
Martin
Hornsby
Quarterman
Gray
Patterson
Malone? Are we relying on Malone? No.
Who am I forgetting?

you've either not watched a minute of basketball this season or you're a horrendous troll.

Eta: I see the sarcasm now. However, I disagree about Martin and Mickey.
