They get treated like kings and have the best path to the NBA. But those poor, poor players get nothing.

I wish my internship was like college football/basketball life

If you're going to make this argument, you are much better off going with football. The basketball players that are good don't even go to school for 2 full semesters and then get 3 or 4 year guaranteed contracts from the NBA. If they don't like it, they can play in Europe for a year and get drafted. The football players are the ones who really get screwed because they have to stay for 3 years and there's not really another option.

That being said, I was in Tuscaloosa recently and after seeing all the new hotels, student housing, greek houses, condos, restaurants, etc.. I can say with absolute certainty that Nick Saban is extremely underpaid for what he does and I would imagine the money Kentucky and Lexington has made since Calipari started coaching would prove he is underpaid as well.
Agreed, Nick deserves $10mm/yr IMHO. I've voice my opinion to a friend who happens to be a BOT member. Pay the man Bama!

And the Players get zip

It's amazing, college tuition, room and board, clothes, travel, promotion by the school, and life guidance counts as zip. I must have had it really bad during college.
