I doesn't require a four page dissertation, to say it ain't happening. No matter how you spin it, it ain't happening.

Who do you think it will be then?

Well, that particular check needs to go to Chip Kelly then. Foley is too tight for that unless he has a serious change of heart.

We haven't spent much SECN money though so who knows. Mabye he knows it's his late hire and he'll go to the UAA and ask for the entire bank roll.

I wasn't lying about asking B.H.G. IV. He said he had no idea. Foley keeps everything quiet and in house. So, to answer your question. I have no idea.

I will be disappointed if it is not Bob Stoops, Chip or Brian Kelly, Gary Patterson, or maybe like a James Franklin candidate.

Fair enough, who would you like for it to be then?

That would mean three jobs in three years. I don't think we want that. I could be wrong.

Thanks for the civil discourse.

What role does Muschamp's buyout play? He is going to be paid a lot of money by Fla and that has to be taken in to consideration when throwing out all those money names.

Hard to see the Gator's laying out $5 mil a year on a coach AND have to pay Will too.

I'm going with Spurrier, just from the way I used to admire the way he always spoke with so much love for his alma mater. I think it's still there. The AD is probably the main stumbling block keeping his return a long shot. I'll still go with it. That's my prediction.

I doubt it plays any. Florida is loaded.

Like Bama, money is not the issue other than Foley's tendency to be cheap. Note that Boom resigned and was not fired officially. That means they renegotiated the buyout that was beneficial to both parties. That tells me that Boom wants to have free reign where he coaches next. He probably had to pay for the freedom. Foley doesn't like to be too restrictive. IT was probably a good trade for both. Boom has no buy-out in his contract and I can't remember the last coach that did. Foley says if you don't want to be a Gator any longer, beat it.

I'll be pissed if it is Dabo, Mullen, Shanahan, Doc, or Gundy.

Spurrier and Cutcliffe are too old.

Freeze would be a good hire but Foley will go bigger imo
Mullen and Rich Rod won't be offered because they have the same agent and the agent and Foley have a problem with each other

If your theory of opening up the checkbook is correct then that agent will perform monkey tricks for Foley to get that commission and notoriety. Money talks. I don't want either of those though.

Gundy doesn't excite me but I would not set things on fire if he was hired.
