LSU fired Miles less than half way into the season with no concrete plan going forward, despite beating everyone else to the punch, and even today still has no plan for who is going to be OC? Do I have this right?

Their plan was to hire O. They're incompetent, not lazy.

What makes you think there is no plan for hiring an OC? That is usually announced after the bowl game

If you don't think the LSU administration doesn't have a plan in action right now then you are just fooling yourself.

Yep LSU doesn't conduct coaching searches anymore. It's a joke of an operation. Won't get better until the AD is fired.

Most players in the NFL.

8-5, 7-4 -- the wasting is epic.

At first the narrrative was that Les Miles needs to be fired because he's a dumbass.

Then the narrative was that LSU is stupid for firing Les.

Then it was Herman is an idiot and wouldn't be a good coach.

Now its we are stupid for keeping Orgeron and not getting Herman.

They had a plan that consisted of 2 and only 2 candidates, when both didn't pan out, one because he wanted a 10 year contract and one because his dream job opened literally the night before he was set to take the LSU job, they panicked and hired the Interim coach.
