…like MIles did, even in the face of Katrina and game postponement? Also, does he have to win the NC by his third year to not be considered a failure? I was just reading Les' bio and the dude is a hell of a football coach. He has this team loaded with young talent that got a lot of experience this year. he has 4 seniors on the team and 3 losses.

I would hate to have to follow him at LSU as the coach. Whoever comes in, if it is Jimbo, better at least make the SEC CG next year.

Yes. Joe Allegra will demand it.

No I just want our team to be more competitive in games. Win or lose I at least want to see an effort from our team instead of just frowning and looking defeated on the sidelines if they're down by more than a TD in the 3rd quarter

On the verge of the biggest rivalry game of the year and concerned with LSU's head coach. Sad.

He better never lose more than one game a year or these fans will get him replaced

Understandable that he misspelled the name. He was in a state of bliss after filling his jizz jar in the reveille cemetery.

Says the gump who'll be praying for LSU fail. Not your call, Sparky.

I think we would settle for disciplined play, halfway decent quarterback development, and a coherent and organized offensive philosophy.

I guess Miles did it with Sabans players.

Will you people stop? Y'all really don't get it.

It's not about outperforming Miles throughout his whole tenure. It's about showing improvement over the last few years, fielding a competent offense ranked better than 94th nationally, and fielding a competent team devoid of mismanagement and inexplicable confusion.

When FSU forced Bowden out, did they expect Jimbo to match his success?

Dumb logic is dumb.

You need to quit starting threads about LSU coaches. It's unhealthy man.

L5U firing a BCSChampion coach that averages 10 wins a year is the biggest story in the SEC in several years. Much bigger story than Alabama playing an overmatched Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
