I've never been to an Iron Bowl in Bryant Denny so I don't know if we do it there

This. A long time ago, the band director from Ole Miss went to Alabama brought the cheer with him.
To this day, when the drum major for Alabama's band signals to play the song he/she moves their arm in a circular "O" motion for "Ole Miss."
Yes. And it had always been called the Ole Miss Cheer. I used to wonder why until somebody told me that we stole it from them.
