See my post above, and draw your own conclusions. His brother Tyler and he are from Mountain Brook, the rich, old money suburb of Birmingham. Sure, it's a stereotype, but you can imagine the work ethic of kids coming out of Mountain Brook. Tyler was the biggest bust of the Saban era...an allegedly 5 star OL who never played one meaningful snap his entire time at Alabama. Wilson was a three star, and aside from the fact that he was Tyler's brother, God only knows why he got a scholarship to play at Alabama...until you realize that Sal Sunseri recruited him. Vol fans could weigh in with some perspective there. You also have the lawsuit for the assault in his recent past. Wilson Love is basically a 24 year old kid who has been an assistant with Cochran in S&C a couple of years. Is he ready to now be a grown man and be the guy running a S&C program at an FBS program? We'll see. As hard as it was for Kiffin to get a head job, how much harder will it be for him to get veteran assistants to come work for him who don't have their own baggage? It takes more than jumping around and yelling like crazy to be Scott Cochran and earn the respect of college players.

Kiffin has no money to spend on assistants. That's why he's hiring his brother, guys no one else will hire, and guys getting their first real shot as a coach.
