This happened to us in high school. Other teams field was soaking wet and it hadnt rained in two weeks, but that was high school. Nobody in college athletics would purposefully try that bush league stuff, thats gimmicky high school stuff....oh wait Gus is from a high school...wow, makes perfect sense now.
