I didn't look at the first guys analogy. Just that one I saw last night. That one, in a vacuum, was pretty shitty.

ETA - aubs are tripping again.

Am I missing something here?

2013 Plays Per Game
1. Ole Miss: 79.8
2. Missouri: 75.5
3. Georgia: 74.6
4. Mississippi State: 74.2
5. Auburn: 73.8
6. Texas A&M: 73.8
7. South Carolina: 72.5

Why is Auburn always the focus of this discussion?

Obviously it's because of the illegal play Auburn ran that allowed them to tie the game up with just seconds left. Had the refs been in position, they would have called the play back for too many men down field.

Give it a rest. Your analogy is still trying to compare it to the refs not having to put the ball in play and that's not how the HUNH works. Sorry you can't tell the the difference.

Don't forget the block down field while the ball was in the air as well.

Because the only people here that support the rule are Bama, Arky, and UGA fans and they are too obsessed with Auburn and Gus to notice anyone else.

I'm not for or against the HUNH. I don't care what type of offense anyone runs. However, I think refs shouldn't allow the ball to be snapped unless all the refs are in their proper place. I also think they need to add an age limit for refs and they need to make their conditioning requirements stricter. It's ridiculous seeing these 60 year old, overweight refs trying to keep up with these college kids.

now lets put the shoe on the other foot. Lets say the refs are comprised of ex-olympic Usain Bolt types and they can get the ball spotted quick as lightning. with this happening so quickly, if the defense is ready and the offense isn't, oh well. The defense should be allowed to go ahead and start rushing the QB whenever they are set and the ball is whistled in play.

See this above is stupid and all you have to do to make the above statement fit the barn side of the arguement is swap the words offense for defense and vice versa. That is pretty much what is being said here.

Anyone touched on the fact of why Gussy likes to run wide sweeps into his sideline when they are on the near hash? Somebody look, because i saw it in several of the auburn games last year. They run the play out of bounds so they can perform substitutions of their own without allowing the defense to do the same. several plays last year, auburn had RBs and WRs run out of bounds because the play went into the boundry, then magically, of the three or four auburn players that reached the sideline, they were replaced by two or three different players coming back on the field... magic.

stay classy.

it is funny when they get back on the field and pressure the ref to spot the ball quickly and becuase they have already subbed and the refs aren't given time to do things correct, that defenses don't get to do the same.

mickey mouse shite like this is one reason people hate the gimmick offenses. run and gun i remember being an unstoppable beast at one point as well....It will be stopped, just like the wishbone at some point.

oh and he sec thanks you for ending the streak.

All you need to do is provide one single example of all this absurd accusations you're throwing out.

Every Auburn game is on youtube. I'll be waiting for all those examples of Auburn subbing and their opponents not being allowed to.

I don't really know what you are referring to specifically, I was speaking generally.

Stop. Just stop. Blame the refs for not doing their jobs, not Malzahn.
