Have 1 in Houston every 7-8 years or so

Would only be relatively close for only two schools.

Proximity is what is suppose to make Atlanta so popular.

Atlanta is an easy destination for national media. That started the ATL obsession by the SEC.

Orlando is just as far for some schools,

I wish Memphis could have it often

There is really only 4 viable locations conducive for getting people to attend,

Memphis, New Orleans, Atlanta, Nashville

Who else is tired of everything SEC being in Atlanta? I mean Atlanta is alright but geez, there are other great cities in the SEC footprint.

Should we all just let it pass that an Ole Miss fan is talking about Atlanta?

Atlanta is the best place for hosting events. Nashville is a good place too.

Thats why they have had 7 Super Bowls, an annual BCS game, a spot in the national championship rotation, 5 mens final 4's and 2 NBA all star games.

Can't really have it in St. Louis, since they host the Big XII tournement.

They've never held it in STL, you must be thinking of KC, 13/18 B12 tournies have been there.

Atlanta is the best place for SEC events if only because of location. NO is a great town but doesn't have near the numbers of, and diversity in, alumni that Atlanta does.

I'd imagine that border towns like Houston, being so far away from most SEC fans, would be out of the question.

Turn out would be good if we had better teams. For now Nashville makes the most sense.

New Orleans is great for those national events. SEC is regional and more centrally located.

Besides Nashville, what would these great cities be?
