There are a few concerns with Will's fit in the offense. Will has only ever played in an air raid system, junior high offenses not withstanding and the new system is not similar. The offense tends to work better with a mobile QB which Will unfortunately is not. I think that's one reason why they brought in Mike White from Vanderbilt.
Will also doesn't have great arm talent. He's accurate but he doesn't have much zip. You don't have to have much for the air raid but this offense is gonna be about pushing the ball downfield following play action.

Yes, let’s take a senior class that has spent their entire career playing in the air raid, had a great staff that led them to 9-4 last year, let’s fire the whole offensive staff, bring in a sunbelt OC who runs a pro style offense and put a square peg in a round hole.
Teams will stack the box and blitz, Rogers is the slowest most unathletic qb in the nation, if one defender breathes on him it’s a sack.
Arnett had a great air riaid OC in Drew Holli gsheqd, now at WKU, he fired him.
Complete idiocy, 5-7 will be a major accomplishment
The moronic MSU fan base says Lech sucked and they have a young Nick saban who will be a major upgrade
