I don't agree. Jones wasn't a Heisman trophy winner, though under the right offense he might have been, still, that having been said, he won a ton of games the Hogs should have been counted out in.
Dak is a fine QB but everyone loves to talk about how great he is, only for him to be astoundingly average in big games. Last season Moo State was stacked with a veteran team and they still collapsed down the home stretch.
Dak might be great, but it is time we saw that instead of a lot of potential. The Dawgs look to be down this year so if Dak is as good as people say he is can he carry a team on his shoulders like Matt Jones did for a couple of years with the Razorbacks?
Is he the next great SEC QB or is he just that guy that got beat up in a parking lot?

He's the best returning qb in the league. He's also one of the best football players in the league. We have the capability to beat your asses in your own stadium, so I wouldn't talk too much bs. Remember, if we get up on you, you have to play catch-up.

I'd take Jones (in his prime) if I could have either one for my team's QB.

You had the capability to not get slapped around by an Ole Miss team in the middle of an epic collapse last year also. If Dak is as good as people say he is then those are the sort of games you need to win.
He might be the next great SEC QB. Can he live up to that? Is he going to be remembered for some amazing underdog victories or for being treated like a human pinata during Spring Break?
