I don't see how it wouldn't if the team continues to play well

Incorrect. You're conflating success with enthusiasm.

Last year we had over 61k per game for a team that hasn't been to a bowl since 2010. We basically had the same attendance as State, who were coming off an Orange Bowl berth.

Edit to add, and within about 5k of Arkansas.

Which is towards the bottom of the SEC, only Vandy and Ole Miss are behind you. Ole Miss probably won't in a few years.

So I will correct myself, you guys don't give a shite about football when comparing a majority of the SEC schools which was the point to begin with

Arkansas ranked 12th nationally in attendance last year with a pretty bad team. Second only to UK in the league.

I went to uca and I would bet I attended more hog bball games during my college years than 80% of the senior class at UA.

But I was in school in the early 90's so...

UCA is a nice little college. My niece goes there and honestly Conway is growing nicely.

With no insult intended to Arkansas State I think UCA is positioning itself to be the second tier school for the state.

Hinson sees an opportunity....an opening, and he's planting seeds. I say Hinson is Arkansas's next HC, perhaps even next year. What is y'all's thoughts????

Where's Porker? I figured he'd find some way to blame Mizzou for this.

My thoughts for SIU's coach....if we play anything other than a crappy ill prepared team on a Monday night there'd be more fans there.

That said, Arkansas basketball needs to win again. This team is better, but won't stay on the floor against UK. I'll continue to feel that if we don't go hire some legit assistant coaches, then we have peaked.

Henson has a lot of connections to NWA. He has a tremendous amount of respect for Arkansas's basketball program. He is a good guy. I was glad to hear what he said.

Monday night against a mid-major, yeah I guess I'd have expected a few more, but not many. Same holds for A&M and I would guess everybody outside UK. Reed Arena holds almost 13K and the attendance for Monday's game against American was 6043, less than half full. I expect a much bigger crowd Friday for USCw, but they won't start jam-packing the place until conference play.
