# 4/5 ohio state
# 9 va tech

# 13/16 florida
# 14/15 auburn

I don't see the sixth, but five seem obvious

what's happened to you anyway? you used to pretend to be reasonable and lately you just post terrible nonsense

Alabama is in the position to win them annually and doesn't lose to the teams they should beat.

Like Auburn this year?
Or LSU in 2011?
Or South Carolina in 2010?
Or ULM?

Like we stated, the dynasty is OVER.

Including 2007 Alabama is laughable.
From 2008-present, Alabama has only lost to one team that finished the season unranked (South Carolina). Alabama's 7 other losses came to teams that finished the season ranked in the Top 10. Only one of those 7 other losses was a blowout (Utah); the remaining 6 losses were games that could have gone either way. No one has beaten Alabama's A game.

Right, if I was on a team that lost twice to teams who were not better at one single position on the football field (except Ark at RB) I would not be that happy about my team's performance regardless of whatever trophy
so you're standing on the field about to hoist the trophy for being the best in the country that season but stop and say that you can't because you're so disappointed in the ark loss.

wow. that is stupid.

some computers decided to give me
wrong. lsu earned it on the field. no one deserved to be in the ncg more than lsu and lsu trounced the next best team.

had no business losing those two games and should be ashamed that they did.
I'd be willing to bet that if you were on that team, you wouldn't be very popular with that attitude. I'd also be willing to bet that if you were on that team, you wouldn't have this juvenile attitude.

Both teams beat 5 teams that finished the season ranked.
and lsu beat 8 teams ranked at the time of the game whereas auburn only beat 5 which could be said to indicate that they were better at the time of the game against lsu than at the end of the season (injuries, etc). 5 is impressive. 8 is pretty amazing.

so as i said before, auburn didn't have as tough of a schedule.

I knew LSU 2007 was a sham but upon further examination it's even more pitiful than I thought
when you overlook playing 8 teams ranked at the time of the game, i can see how you would come to this flawed conclusion

lsu beat 8 teams ranked at the time of the game and 5 that ended the season ranked.

Again, you only beat 2 good teams just like 2012 Alabama
even macho mutt admitted that lsu beat 4 top 15 teams.

quote:

In 2011, Alabama fell from #2 to #3. Hence, they only needed #2 to lose to get back into the title game
but, bama needed other teams to lose to even get in that position to begin with. just like lsu needed teams to lose in '07. bama made less mistakes than everyone else and was the best. same with lsu in '07. some people mistakenly think that just because upsets happened in the last week instead of throughout the season that somehow lsu wasn't as good of a team.

quote:

I just showed you that Alabama only needed 2 teams to lose to make it to the national championship in 2011 and 2012
no, you only took one week into account instead of what all happened throughout the season. bama needed things to happen all along just like any team does.

quote:

LSU had an unimpressive performance vs a Tennessee team that was worse than their record indicated
so now you're omniscient and can tell what teams are worth their ranking, what teams are underachieving. and that somehow objectively proves that lsu wasn't good and needed tons of help.

Alabama still has 6 more seasons to outdo LSU's accomplishments from 2003-2010, 2012-2013.
there are plenty of threads going around right now that enumerate how lsu has been the best program in the country since 2000 and since 2005.

heck, even since '07, lsu is second only to bama in several ways.

exhibit a

exhibit b

it's interesting how hard people work to diminish someone else's accomplishments. even if you don't like lsu, you have to admit that lsu has been in the elite of the elite by pretty much every criteria.

LSU was LOSING to a 6 loss bama, a 5 loss Arkansas, a 4 loss UF, a 4 loss AU, and a 4 loss UT in the FOURTH quarter that year
most of those teams didn't have that many losses at the time of the game genius.

quote:

They were no where near great
it's clear that this is the sentiment from rivals who are overlooking certain aspects of lsu's season. but that's to be expected i guess.

Because it pure media bias. You lose your biggest game of the year and still get voted in.

I know LSU fans need some fresh way to delude themselves, but going 11-1 and playing in a BCS bowl does not mean the dynasty is over, even if we almost lost our coach during one of your wet dreams.

Look, I am not diminishing what Bama has done at all, because if I were a Bama fan I would be giddy as hell with what they have done these last few years. But, to call yourself a dynasty when you have won your conference only twice in the 7 seasons Saban has been here is a little much

Alabama has one of the weakest schedules in he SEC by far and has for many years now. In fact, this has been the case ever since Bama has been a perennial presence in the NCG talk. So, take that FWIW.

That's the dumbest shite I've ever read.

UF was a one loss team when you played them this year. I guess they were great, huh? Where exactly did they finish the year? Probably ranked in the top 15, correct?

LSU 2003-2007 2 National titles 3 SEC West titles 2 SEC Titles 3-0 in BCS games

This is probably a joke but if you mean this, Auburn can make the same claim as they also have 2 SEC and BCS titles in a smaller timeframe under two different head coaches. I wouldn't of course, because it's totally ridiculous.
Ummm, when did Auburn win their 2nd BCS title?

Yep 93-96. 2 NC games with one title.

I dont think 4 in a row will ever happen again.
