The only regular season games Bama has played in that didn't have National Championship implications were the 3 games in 2010 following the loss to LSU - where Bama was essentially eliminated from contention.

That's 93 out of the last 96 regular season games.

Unreal.

This run will never be duplicated by another school ever. Not even by Alabama. We're talking odds that are in the .01% of this type of run happening.

Unfortunately, didn't the "Camback" game have national championship implications?
For Auburn, at least.

The game they lost to us last year apparently didn't have implications

Considering it was precedented in the BCS era for a two-loss champion to find a way into the NC game, I guess you still COULD have played for one with two losses, given the right circumstances. And, as another poster pointed out, the Auburn game had NC implications for Auburn, so technically that game also counts.

Actually, the Auburn game in 2010 had NC implications. You know, since they ended up winning it.

ETA - so that's 97 out of 99.

Yeah... shite threads tend to get lots of posts because they're shite. Also my response has more upvotes and less downvotes than your post.

Your response completely missed the entire point of the whole damn thread, and your cute little upvotes are a product of butthurt LSU fans. Thank them for that. It didn't seem that anyone else had a problem with the thread.

It's to rub L5U in our face, while also showing the rest of the conference another category bama leads. His facts are interesting and the pics are placed so that we have to see them all to read info. I can appreciate a good and informative troll.

In fact, the only posts I can find that really have a problem with the thread were of course written by LSU fans... and the one little Tennessee fan who completely missed the entire point of the thread.
