Darrell Mcsteal may be the worst poster on this board.

How is Georgia and Florida ahead of the rest of the East. Take Mizzou. A terribly young and ineffective offense that was next to last worst in the country went into Athens and lost by 3(9-6). Mizzou's defense should be just as good and there is no way that offense gets worse. Are you really expecting a highly touted freshman(as was Lock) to step in and be that great to be that much of a difference?

Florida? Florida was atrocious that second half of the season and Grier almost single handling beat Mizzou. Lock threw that late pick six but Grier did amazing that game and next week, he was no more. You really think Del Rio who has been from school to school is going to step in and be Grier? Are you nuts dude.

And Tennessee. They finally deserve the preseason hype. I mean, its been a decade since you have even been relevant. Congrats.

You could've saved a few paragraphs and just said that VOLS are going to be really good.

Congrats on your new account, btw. What caused you to stop posting under your old name?

Auburn is either finishing last or next to last in the West

Didn't Auburn take Arky to 4 OT in Fayetteville last year? I can't imagine Auburn being any worse this year than they were last year.

If there wasn't a dimes difference between Auburn and Arkansas last season, why do all you Hogs seem to think you'll easily finish ahead of Auburn this year when you have a new QB, RB, and the game is now in Auburn?

Oh yeah. Sorry but what has Ole Miss accomplished in football since integration?

Yalls GOAT team could barely beat a God awful Auburn with one of the most inept offenses I've ever seen. What do you think we're going to do to after the NCAA gets done raping you and Auburn is back to normal?

Yeah, I'd want to enjoy this while it lasts if I was an OM fan too, so I don't blame you.

I can't speak for other Arkansas fans but I don't think we will finish anywhere in the West easily. You can make arguments that both teams really didn't play their best games that day. Auburn had about 10 dropped passes and Arkansas' offense looked asleep at times until the explosive OT. I don't think you can look at that game and get a clear gauge of either team last year or moving into this year.

Probably so. Either way, it seems odd how confident Arkansas fans are about their chances in the West.

Auburn and Arkansas had very similar seasons last year. I believe Arkansas was 8-5, Auburn was 7-6. I remember that game last year being very ugly for both teams.

I think Mississippi State will be better than most people think this year.

I don't think most do, most believe somewhere between 6-8 wins which isn't that confident imo.

Let's say they are incredibly biased, and predict Bama to win the National Championship every year. They'd be right most of the time

Theyre basically in the position that picking Bama to win the SEC every year is the safe bet.

I guess I meant, confidence in relation to Auburn.

At least 2-3 Hog fans looked at the list of teams 1-14 in the OP, and all of their initial reactions were about how they'd finish ahead of Auburn.

Since Auburn and Arky were essentially equals last year, I was just wondering why they all seemed to think they'd certainly be better this year considering their new QB, RB, and the fact the game would be played in Auburn this time.
