From the mom of someone who has lost a son, I wish nothing but peace and serenity to his parents, family, friends and everyone who has been affected by this. There are no words to describe the pain of having to live thru laying your own child to rest.

I have so much respect for CLM for making this young man's time on Earth a happier experience. I hope and pray that he is able to make the game and that his wish for an LSU victory comes true.

Geaux Sid and Geaux Tigers!

I don't have kids, yet, but I can't imagine being a parent of a terminally ill child. That must be unbearable.

Prayers for Sid, his parents, family and friends.

To all of you LSU fans. A few years back, there was a ten year old down in Louisiana named Brennan. He was fighting a terminal disease. He passed away in 2012 I believe. My mom and two of her sisters made the drive from Ohio down to see Brennan. He had his own following, Brennan's Brigade. He was a huge LSU fan. He basically turned part of my family into LSU backers, so we'll be cheering for you all in the SEC. If any of you locals down there know how the family is doing, can you update? Honest question. My wife and I are parents of a six year old daughter and I couldn't even imagine the torment they went through. You never really get over that, but hopefully their faith has given them some semblance of a normal life. Great story about coach Miles. Good luck Tigers! Here's to a great remainder of the season in the best sport in the world, CFB.
