The Bama fan who punched him is an idiot who should go to jail. The student was being dumb also. It's really not that hard to stay out of fights and trouble at an away game. Be nice to people and don't roam around the bars/streets at an away game 30 minutes after a game that ends well past midnight screaming Roll Tide, War Eagle or Hotty Toddy at everyone. If you try to provoke some drunk a-hole while he is pissed, you might get what you were asking for.

How is that a sucker punch? Getting hit first doesn't mean you got sucker punched.

Next time I go to a game in Tuscaloosa and we win, I am going to find the closest police officer and chant "Geaux Tigers!" as loud, obnoxiously, and as many times as possible at all the Bama fans right next to him. Come at me bros

Getting hit first in the sense of knowing there is going to be a confrontation isn't, but if you have no idea someone is going to fight you it kinda is.

No one desrves to be assaulted...
But if a Bama fan is drunk and running around Toomers Corner screaming "Roll Tide" at Auburn fans after an Iron Bowl win, well lets just say if he got clocked i wouldn't be particularly surprised.

Someone please link the Jeremy hill sucker punch for this corn dog. I'm too busy to search for it but have seen it numerous times. It happens everywhere and I don't condone it either btw.
