I thought your oline was crap last year? Did it miraculously improve?
Tha frick?
Our OL was at worst top 5 in the SEC last year, arguably one of the best. It returns two guys who are trying to play their way into the early rounds, and the coaches reportedly can't stop raving about how much quality depth they have there.
Dale prettymuch picked our best units out of sheer laziness. This is why Dale no longer garners the respect he once did.

When did Dale ever earn any respect?
Posted on 6/10/15 at 10:00 pm to TheDrunkenTigah
My bad. I thought in all the Chubb/LF threads that some LSU fans had complained about how poorly the oline had played.

Collins was the only elite one on the line last year. I'm confident enough to say that there will be at least 3 elite linemen this year. We're much improved there.

Looks about right.

So late round picks are not considered "elite" by LSU fans.
Explains the LF hype.

I swear you used to be better than this.

QB is the only battle that matters at LSU. We stacked elsewhere

Let's be serious here, in a life or death situation (yeah I know it's not that serious, but work with me) with the only options being Arkansas, Miss St and LSU, would you really pick Arkansas and Miss St over LSU as a playoff contender?

Your "best" running back had like 19 yards in LSU's big game for the year. No lulz
Kinda what happens when you only carry the ball 5 times. Would he have been seen better as getting 6 more yards equaling 5 ypc? I mean seriously 5 carries aren't enough to even start a troll unless you were talking about the coaching staff.

In all seriousness, Maybe Arkansas, but not miss st. LSU is always a bitch to play. Do until Miles switched his hat for a unicorn dildo helmet, and hdd officially list his mind, I'm not gonna discount what LSU can do.
The rest need to prove they are legit, and can stay that way all season.

Even knowing Arky's schedule, you'd even still consider it? Really? Earlier in the season, Arkansas in Texas against TAMU, @Tennessee, and @Bama in consecutive weeks. Then later in the year, @Ole Miss and @LSU in consecutive weeks. I wouldn't touch that over LSU's.
Our toughest road games are Bama and Ole Miss. Our OOC is a joke, and we get UF at home and USCe in rebuilding years. We get Auburn at home in game three before they get anything together and we get MSU game 2 with no defense and running game established outside of Dak.

These teams being considered playoff contenders is the most ridiculous thing ESPN has done this year. That includes giving Bruce Jenner the Arthur Ashe award for courage.

The most important non-qb position is obviously tailback
I could be wrong but I don't think that's what the article was about. I took it to mean most important in the sense of "this is the unit that has the most question marks, and it the 'most important' in the team making the playoffs".
We're loaded at RB, that's not a concern for us. We have lots of questions on DL, that's a concern.

I'm not saying you are wrong.
But if you are right, this is piss poor journalism.

Let me know when you see lsu fans puffing their chest out over a 2-6 sec record.thats when you can label lsu fans delusional. What's really sad is lsu's 2014 sec record would be Arkansas ' s 3 Rd best sec record in 8 years.

Holy shite. How has natural selection not taken you out?
In 2014 we ran for more yards and more yard/game than Ark while having the worst passing attack in the sec.
We return 3 starters and and 4th with significant playing time.
Our returning starter at RB only led the sec in all purpose yards as a true freshman.
