I think from a ratings standpoint ESPN thinks they would do better during the week when people are generally at home plus the lack of popularity of college baseball nationally and the time of year there wouldn't be much else to watch.

Agree. It is part of the strategy. The MLB World Series has always been about how you use your pitchers. But, these kids can bounce back quicker than someone older. I wouldn't hesitate bringing in my best for a game with so much on the line. This is what these players have dreamed of.

Better yet why not allow 4 days between each game so each team can pitch their ace in all three games. It's the best team not the team with the best starters. My god some of you are never satisfied.

The college baseball season as a whole should be pushed back IMO. This would allow northern teams a chance to play at home more, rather than have to schedule the first third or half of their season on the road to the west or south.

Should the CWS Championship series be moved back a few days to give each team time to rest starting pitchers? This way both teams would be at full strength for the series?
Not only to give the teams rest, but mostly for the fans.
It's asinine to have the "2 out of 3" Finals on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! Would be much easier for fans to attend on the weekend.
I guess the NCAA doesn't care if people have to work during the week!

No - it's set up to reward a team if it sweeps through the early rounds. If you have to play extra games and burn pitchers, it's on you for losing. It's fair the way it is.

It's already long enough. Got to think of the people attending the tournament just watching on TV. And the current set-up rewards teams that go through the winners bracket for example. Pretend LSU or Florida hadn't lost yet - they would deserve to be rewarded by having more pitchers available.
