I wonder if you could slide it up onto a car hauler. You back it in and slide it off the day before the game, then you come and pick it up the day after.

You'd have to make a custom heavy-duty traiiler for it, but they weigh less than 6,000 lbs. empty.

Seems like a lot of work, when you could just buy an enclosed trailer and customize it, that weighs less, and is easier to transport.

Not sure about other campuses but at ours, that's about as practical as these show offs hauling their Green Eggs to the tailgait.

I bought a small egg to tailgate and take camping. I built a small crate to carry it in and it weighs about 70 lbs. I'll admit I'm a BGE fanboy, but they really are great grills/smokers.

they have rollbacks for containers, problem is, you are going to either destroy the ground/sod or if its on concrete, you could crack it all up

Guess you could use container casters and only allow them on paved or concrete surface. You would just have to make sure they were the locking casters and not the swivel ones (and make sure they were chocked/locked).

It would be easier for the Bama fans to just bring their single wide to game.

Shipping containers are way sturdier than mobile homes...

If there was a drop off / pick up service like Pods then this would be great. Buy a parking spot and have your tailgate set up there in place of parking.

If you create something like this, you better use it at every home game or you just wasted money. frick, you better do it every single game (home or away)

I'll just hook it up to the 4-Runner and head on to T-Town...

Just have it permanently mounted to the trailer with a small set of movable steps. Probably wouldn't even have to unhook it from the truck. Even if so, welding a set of leveling jacks to all 4 corners of the trailer would only cost about $200. If I took my tailgating that seriously, that's the route I'd go.

this seems like the definition of "overkill".

My cockaboose is just as big, luckily the railroad track isn't to jammed on gameday.

IMO this isn't tailgating.....At least at BDS...JMHO

I like, "no love" setting up the tent, grill, table, chairs, etc. We also do some walking and seeing friends and meeting other people.

Reading the website, I don't think they are marketing these to individual fans to haul back and forth to games. They appear to be marketing to universities and other organizations. I think the idea is to provide universities with ways to provide luxury suites for tailgating outside the stadium much the same way boxes and suits are provided inside the stadium.

Minus the fact that a BGE is really easy to transport. A bit heavy sure, over the top, possibly, but difficult...no.
