that joke was funny the first 20 times I've heard it since yesterday.

Shep couldn't be a guest picker on gameday. He's an employee of Fox. Contracts 'n shite say he couldn't be on an ABC/ESPN show.

Could be wrong but thought I'd heard him a few of those days when he wore purple and gold on whichever network he was on at the time (CNN I guesS?).

I think he's absolutely right in saying Ole Miss values a win over LSU more than MSU.

LSU will ALWAYS be our biggest rival. Not even close.

30 years, 11 months, 26 days, 19 hours and 32 minutes, a-hole.

But no, that has nothing to do with it.

He might have but usually when Carville is on its pro-LSU talk and maybe some talk about how shitty the pac-12 is. Shep spits out more hate for LSU than he spits out jizz.

Ask any older person and they will tell you LSU vs UM was always a heated contest between two teams who hated each other...
Why you think Archie Manning boys didn't come to LSU?

I'm older (over 40). I can ASSURE you that for me and my friends that went to Ole Miss, we will ALWAYS consider LSU our biggest rival. Hell, we only lost to State once in the five years I was at Ole Miss.

I know why.

Because I am an "older person".

From the other side my dad questioned the Ole Miss hatred recently aka do current students know to hate Ole Mss. Are they okay losing to them.

I grew up in Mississippi and hate Ole Miss the most.

So who should be State's biggest rival for the senior class this year?

I think a lot of out of state ole miss fans don't stick around during thanksgiving to experience eggbowl so they really don't care. I'd say a lot of the out them prefer the tailgating anyways. Who they play is secondary.

Well not to be that guy but until Mullen came and started putting the huge emphasis on the game, I rarely ever even paid attention to state outside of the egg bowl. It really felt like a friendly rivalry to me. I don't even remember shite talking about it between friends.

The LSU game was the one I looked forward to most. I still have the most contempt for them.

Same here, but it didn't help that we blew hobos for quarters during the Croom years either.
