Shea Patterson
He put the team on his shoulders on the road against the #8 team in the country in front of 105k people and won. You're not gonna find a stat that considers that other than the "W" column.

I'm not sure what USC, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and LSU were ranked when Hurts beat them all on the road, but I'm pretty sure all were top 10

We beat yo' limp arse and you had Kelly, "the next greatest ole miss qb"

Of course if the NCAA nails you then Shea may take his show on the road

^^^ So when Ole Miss play's Bama next year the game won't be televised? I'll wait for an answer.

Not in Mississippi. NCAA shutting down the whole state.

Well now, he completed only 59% of his passes, had an intercept, and a qb rating of 73.1. Not exactly best qb in the SEC numbers. He's a freshman, though, so like Eason and Hurts, and the kid at USC, he should improve.

He had some growing pains, but if you watched the end of then you know this kid can game. Down 9 with ~7 minutes left and he lead them on two drives to win it.

Starting as a true freshman in his first game on the road in the SEC against #8.

I remember Brandon Harris set the world on fire in the 4th quarter with three unanswered scoring drives...

Here's your problem Rebels. You know why you were so good the last couple of years? You had the Land Sharks. You played defense. You wanna know why you still didn't win shite worth mentioning? Because your dumb shite coach thinks running the football is a crime and insists on running that Big XII offense in the SEC. Football is stil a simple game: to win, you run the ball and stop the run. Nice advice coming from a team that is 1 out of 3 against them and were down 21 at one point in the lone win.

I think Freeze spends all of his time creating a team that can beat Bama and then hope the rest shakes out.

The rest hasn't shaken out yet.

So where does he transfer to? I think he'll end up in the ACC. Clemson's gotta be the favorite but I'll take Louisville as a darkhouse. Petrino's gonna roll with this kid.

Freeze tried to run the ball. We got in the red zone twice and ran it on first and second down both time and we had 3rd and 10. Our makeshift O line can't run block in the red zone. Freeze would love to be 50/50 but our line can't handle it so throwing it around the park is our best chance to win.

Ole Miss offense caters to QB's. Hell, even Bo Wallace looked all conference. I'd take Eason, Hurts and Bentley over Patterson. JMHO

The running game was as effective last night as it has been all year. Might be due to aTm's D, but still. The entire offense looked elevated and inspired.

Best QB in the SEC already.

This is awkward.

Took a redshirt off with 3 games to go just to finish 7-5. Brilliant move Freeze.....

I agree, but Freeze knows probation and bowl ban coming. Might as well go bowling this year.
