Best QB in the SEC already.

This is awkward.

Agree. Almost like a waste of talent.

Well now, he completed only 59% of his passes, had an intercept, and a qb rating of 73.1. Not exactly best qb in the SEC numbers. He's a freshman, though, so like Eason and Hurts, and the kid at USC, he should improve.

I haven't seen him yet, but his stats are good, great for a first time starter.
PASSING CP-ATT-INT YDS TD LONG

If Ole Miss goes on probation. I wonder if this kid transfers. Transferring as soon as possible seems to be the way it is trending these days.

He put the team on his shoulders on the road against the #8 team in the country in front of 105k people and won. You're not gonna find a stat that considers that other than the "W" column.

Out of curiosity, how would you characterize what Hurts did in his first game against Southern Cal?

We all knew he was elite. The Ole Miss offense is a dream come true for a quarterback. Elite receivers to throw to. Now if you can recruit a defense you may be ok. Really good football player and I wish Bama had him.

He played great.

It's going to be a shame not watching him play on TV next year.
