No offense, but Etling throws hardly any passes over 15 yards downfield. Don't really get how anyone can say he's the best QB in the SEC when he has Guice running for 250 and Williams running for 100 more. Etling only attempted 13 passes yesterday and completed 9 of them because your offensive scheme cut through our defense like butter and left a lot of receivers open 10-15 yards downfield, which then turned into 60 yard "completions" because there were no defenders within 30 yards of the receiver who could tackle him.
Also, it's not like he put up good numbers vs. an elite defense, because our defense is far from elite.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Etling has even thrown for over 230 yards in a single game this year. And don't play the "he doesn't have to because our running game is effective and he is efficient with his passes" because that's horseshite in this situation. My high school QB could complete most of the passes that Etling throws.

If the PCL alone was torn (which is what it sounds like), it may have felt like just a really minor sprain but became significantly swollen and painful after the fact prompting the MRI to diagnosis it. And they wouldn't have done an MRI on site at the stadium, which is one of the few ways to diagnosis a tear of that particular ligament. It's not like tearing your ACL and losing the primary stability in your knee.
