He now makes more than the Women's B-ball coach.....

Not bad for someone who averages 5-6 losses per season and is under .500 in the SEC.

Also wtf is up with so many Carolina guys hitting the portle ATM. You'd think after this season they'd be wanting to run it back. Is it NIL?

Uh oh, she’s about to go off on toxic masculinity and systemic racism.

Good for him. It was well deserved.

Much better than giving a giving a guy a raise and extension for losing 5 of his last 6 games.

Because they are private and don't have to report? Just guessing...

Private school? No idea, but I'm guessing less readily available information. I'm sure it's out there, though.

I agree on the 2nd point from a wins/losses point of view. But there's more than 1 way to measure progress.

For a lot of them, yes. Part of it also is culture cleanup. Shane is a big "team" guy. Everything is about the guy next to you, and the sum being better than its parts. That was not the mentality of the prior administration.

Case in point, Jordan Burch and Jaheim Bell. Both wanted more NIL, without production to remotely match it. Burch doesn't have an NFL future, so getting what he can now makes sense. Bell, well, he literally had the offense designed around him at one point this season and still complained about not getting enough touches. Watch the UTK game. When he doesn't score, but his teammates do, he's visibly pissed.
