Lawrence Phillips used to drag his girlfriend by the hair up and down the stairs and he did this a bunch of times and everyone knew it and people still worship Tom Osborne so who is voting for Trump?

The funny thing is he isn't even a great coach and yet UT is doing everything they can to protect him. I mean he lost a bunch of games he had the talent to win last year and he's somehow pulled the wool over their eyes.

I mean he's much better than Dooley but he's a long way from being elite.

I feel bad for Vol fans right now. And for the good kids who make up the majority of UT athletes. This sucks.

Dammit can we be good people later please? Some of us want to laugh without guilt.

Just kidding, except you are a good person.

Awww, thanks!!

This sucks for the good ones. But if butch said this... frick him. Seriously. With a virus-laden garden tool. Repeatedly.

That comment right there will end up costing TN millions.

This is the only time you will hear me speak on this. If all the allegations are true it's time for a new coach. If it's not true it may not matter the damage in the public eye is done. The ONLY silver lining in all this is that it should cost Hart his fricking job. It seems as if Tennessee can't get out of their own way, I am glad I was there in person for the 1990's and early 2000's.

Ah, yes, the good ole days. So sad that in today's PC America a guy can't even condone rape anymore, without it causin a big fuss.

Most of these questions can be solved by looking at his recruiting rankings. He has done a wonderful job getting talent on that team and even if he does get fired, he leaves some good talent for the next coach.

I hear the Tennessee program is now putting out hits on rats and anyone else who likes to talk. So at this time I would like to apologize to the Tenner program for any harsh remarks I've made in the past and for the ones I am most likely to make in the immediate future. I'm to young to die!

That's assuming the players aren't given waivers to transfer by the NCAA.

If this story isn't true, Butch Jones should be in front of a camera, RIGHT NOW, denying it.

Thats not fair. For legal reasons you just can't do things like that. If Butch didn't say it I feel sorry for him. Because in today's age the truth doesn't really matter, only the initial mob wave matters. He will likely be let go soon

However if he did say it he is a real POS that deserves everything

And if it is true, he gone.

In that scenario, my money is that Fulmer will be your interim for one year unless Gruden agrees to take it on, which four years ago was laughable but with his son in school there, him having the whole coaching staff down in Tampa for a few days a couple of weeks ago, etc. it would make a lot more sense.

Edit: I personally think if Butch knows he is in the wrong and is going to be canned, he would try to leave the team in the best hands possible and he and Gruden are tight. The Chancellor was already going to be gone this summer, I could also see them speeding it up and booting him out for a PR play over the whole "institutional" aspect
