Mannie had a dozen offers, including schools like ASU, Nebraska, Illionis, BYU, TCU, and Texas Tech before A&M offered. A&M hardly 'discovered' the kid.

It didn't happen out of nowhere. I think we still have the fewer decommits this year than Alabama.
A&M isn't like South Carolina. A&M is trying to recruit at an "Elite" level, but we aren't elite yet. You are going to lose some kids. In addition, A&M has a new offensive coordinator/quarterback coach and the former coach is still coaching at a Power5 school. Both of the decommits were on offense.
