No, we have a game.

Let's play on October 29th

The fact that you believe Florida is afraid to play LSU tells us all we need to know.

Nothing can be said to change the stupidity of that situation

LSU hasn't even been offered any options according to our AD, from either the SEC or the host. And I can tell you this. The point is moot. LSU has shown historically that they will do anything to get a game in. We've played home games in Temp, AZ, Monday Night Football post Katrina which caused 10 straight weeks with no bye en route to ATLanta...we would have played this game too, and Disney and GA and SC seem to think that would be OK to do. Only your pussified school is pussing out...SO GO frick YOURSELF.

I don't think it's fear but it benefits Florida not to play LSU in the eastern division race and that is very real and very true

The fact that the other Florida schools managed to put together a plan to get their games in and fricking Disney World is open tomorrow but Florida won't play a team without a head coach or its best player Saturday, Sunday, or any other location tells you all you need to know.

Our program, which has shown they'll change venues and game days, more than likely would play.

Ok, so LSU is ready to play Nov. 19th then?

Nope. We have changed venues and dates to play a game on the week it was scheduled. Asking us to give up the revenue of a home game and then ply 3 straight SEC road games within a 12 day stretch is hardly the same or reasonable.

You do realize this game was cancelled two full days before it was scheduled to be played right?

Our team was not leaving on Thursday with a hurricane coming or not

Your notion that the game suddenly wouldn't have been canelled has to be the most retarded thing posted on this site the past 24 hours which is quite the accomplishment. The scary thing is your dumbass probably fully believes it

To the scale it has been with LSU fans? No, I don't think it would have been. The melt y'all are having defies all logic.

There is a real possibility we couldn't get to the SECCG if we won out and you think that is a mere melt? GFY

A. The narrative that Alleva offered up to play on Monday is false. He has been quoted as offering to fly up Sunday, play, then leave Sunday. He has been quoted that playing Monday was never discussed.

You are correct, I apologize, but when asked about it he said "we would've made it happen".

I think it's awfully clear who the resistant party was here.

Well since it was never discussed, I find it hard to believe you know that anyone was resistant to it.

Not regarding just Monday, regarding the entire situation.

Stop being obtuse. Multiple teams in multiple years have done exactly what Florida refused to do. It's not some unprecedented event.

Well I've clearly been talking about the whole Monday narrative, so don't call me obtuse when you want to change your argument.

My argument hasn't changed. I acknowledged my Monday statement was incorrect. It doesn't change the argument that Florida was the resistant party in this affair.

I assume you're an LSU fan just wearing the UT logo.

If you miss the SECCG because the UF game isn't played it will mean you've beaten Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. If that happens, melt away. You will have earned the right.

But how about waiting on having a legitimate reason to melt first.

they felt the same as LSU players... Christmas morning with no presents. They wanted to play. A week of prep, some trash talk, best cross-division permanent matchup last 20 years imo (sorry Tenn/Bama)

The players on both sides wanted to play each other. The fear narrative makes good banter for social media, journalists, and fans though
