It's clear what LSU fans think about the cancellation, and fairly clear what Florida posters hear feel about LSU fans and their complaint. What I'm curious about is how Florida players (who should be fierce competitors feel about this deal). Anyone know? I've heard when Coach O told The Tigers, and I'm loosely quoting here, it "was like CHristmas morning and Daddy said there are no presents."

Did Saint Foley bring Christmas cheer to his clubhouse with the news that he could get them one step closer to their goal using the pretense of weather and without taking a snap?

Florida didn't actually set all this up because they were scared. That's not what happened. But I know at this point that's like trying to convince your average TigerRanter that there's no referee/REC/ESPN/SEC conspiracy out to get LSU. It's a lost cause

If the roles were reversed, you're telling me the narrative on this board wouldn't be that LSU was scared? Srs question

Florida fans know this is bull shite now, just like every other one who isn't an idiot. It's UForfeit, and they know it.

I bet Foley didn't tell them anything.

They probably would. Are you admitting it's just a rant narrative?

Well, obviously LSU was scared to go play it on Saturday as scheduled because of the storm.

Im sue they were thrilled that they wouldn't have to get embarrassed this weekend and instead could have a hurricane party

To the scale it has been with LSU fans? No, I don't think it would have been. The melt y'all are having defies all logic.

With your french name Id expect a very fair and even thread..its refreshing to know that even those cajuns without socialmedia are babbling on....first 1) game isnt cancelled, its postponed 2) LSU admin was bitchy about the whole thing from the getgo and didnt want to play tomorrow..which is EXACTLY what UF wanted to do. 3) because LSU wont consider 11/19 when we both have OOC games that are beatable and we both have insurance for lost revenue...LSU would have loved for us to lose a home game but damn sure doesnt want to lose THEIR home game.

It's a moot point because it's merely a hypothetical that would've never came to fruition barring a direct and catastrophic hit on Baton Rouge. Our program, which has shown they'll change venues and game days, more than likely would play.

It would'nt be as bad because LSU pretty much controls the narrative around here, even though somehow they act like the Rant gangs up on them

No Florida didn't. I said it appears Jeremy Foley did and Alleva was helpless to stop it and Sankey was not proactive or powerful enough to stop it. Even now, Sankey could call Foley up and say,"Get your team suited up, find a workable solution, and get this game played somewhere between now and 1am Tues morning." It could be done. Foley took advantage of a certain situation and no one is going to convince me otherwise. I'm just musing about what the student-athletes must be thinking about his pussified nature.

Just because you make shite up doesn't mean it's true.

LSU clearly stated they were ready to play any of 3 days (Sat, Sun, Mon) any place, and at any time. That is fact.

Florida cancelled the game not LSU.

And don't even get started on 11/19, that's a whole different set of issues.

Ok, so LSU is ready to play Nov. 19th then?

Wed night, you people were bitching about playing Sat with a storm coming in and wanted to move it to BR. Fla said no and yall call them pussies. Now threads are popping up about how the weather ain't bad there. If your punk asses had gone down there, you'd be playing tomorrow.

Not true on 2 accords:
1) The SEC office postponed the game indefinitely
2) The game is not 100% cancelled. It may get re-scheduled.

Funny thing about facts are, you need to be right when calling something a fact.

A. The narrative that Alleva offered up to play on Monday is false. He has been quoted as offering to fly up Sunday, play, then leave Sunday. He has been quoted that playing Monday was never discussed.

B. The SEC postponed the game, not Florida.
