You will have to excuse Johnny, he's just a RS Freshman and in a new conference. He does't know that much about our opponents.
When asked about the game next week he thought LSU was some kind of waste management company.

That's like asking who else is in the Justice League besides Superman. It doesn't matter.

Hmmmm....okay, I'll play along. I'll take "who is that guy that caught the ball on 3rd and 19 vs Ole Miss", Alex.
Ohhh, Daily Double...I'll say "the guy who pretty much has over 100 yds per game receiving as a FR, Alex".

A&M fans are underestimating LSUs defense

You mean Uzoma Nwachukwu, aka EZ? He's a solid if somewhat inconsistent WR who has made several big plays this year, particularly in scramble drill situations, but is definitely the #3 option behind Evans and Swope.

In a way, yes...it is.

I just checked with HR.
Swope is scheduled to receive his 20 year watch in
February, while EZ just was awarded his 15 year anniversary tie tack a few months ago.
HR cannot officially comment but sources say Swope will retire in 5 more years and try his hand at Curling.
I cannot confirm that.

I wouldn't rely too much on the UF game. That was Manziel's first college game and while he played solid, he has improved significantly since then and much more of the offense has been opened to him.

When does Swope leave?
Exactly what I was thinking. 8th year of eligibility? Does he have a 401(k) at A&M?

I don't think A&M fans are underestimating LSU's D at all. They know what they are in for. We played LSU in the '10 Cotton Bowl and we have played UF. It's not like folks are predicting we will light it up for 50 this week like we have predicted for every game since UF.
If A&M wins it will honestly come down to the A&M D vs the LSU O imo. If we can keep the running game in check and force the Mettsiah into some picks while our offense can at least move the ball and get a few scores we have a real shot. If LSU starts grinding out the running game that spells trouble.
The real question on offense is if Manziel can adjust. He can't do his "run back in a circle 10 yards" plays. He needs to make confident throws into tighter coverage. He needs to play a disciplined game and realize the quality of the opponent. That said, he doesn't need to play in fear, quite the contrary he needs to play with the intention of winning and belief that he is the best player on the field.

We couldn't block Moore - he is a beast on the DL

Serious question, who the F else do we need other than JM2?

If you stop Manziel we don't have much of anything.
I don't expect us to completely stop him, but I think we will be able to significantly limit him. If A&M had a defense, I would be a little concerned about this game, but they don't.

A&M fans sure are a confident group.

Honestly it doesn't matter who we trot out there, I still think we lose to LSU.

Does any AG think that Showers would have them even remotely near where they are now? What about Davis, will he ever play?
