Everyone who hates Kiffin is glad Bama lost and glad that Kiffin was the problem. Vol fans were probably the happiest.

What's going to truly be funny is next year and the years after when teams like LSU, Tennessee and Auburn get no respect for going through the SEC.

They'll always give Alabama the benefit of doubt due to Saban. Which is why it is important the SEC winner wins it all.

I laughed when Auburn lost to FSU last year, yet the affect of that loss only encouraged the hatred and bashing of the SEC this year. The fact we gave our haters what they wanted this season (being shite and overrated) means they are now constantly shitting on our previous championships and will continually shite on and hate on us in the future.

Forget multiple teams going to championships and forget about having multiple team's ranked high.

When we lose? We suffer. Too many out there just hate all of us (not just Alabama).

ETA: Don't be shocked when a two-loss SEC team gets left out. You guys are enjoying this today, but when a two-loss LSU or Auburn gets left out for a one-loss team from one of the other four conferences, don't say people didn't tell you so.

The losses we took with LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, Auburn and Alabama is going to hurt us tremendously in the future.

6 months of the SECw being compared to the NFC East and other nonsense is why a big percentage of people liked seeing the west take the collar. Pride goeth before a fall. Same as it ever was.

People will always hate the perennial winner ( Yankees, Celtics, Lakers,etc.)...always have and always will. Envy and jealousy are powerful emotions.....Of course if someone is a fan of a team that will never be on that proverbial "bubble", it doesn't make any difference...does it?

Pride has nothing to do with it. There is nothing that rises that doesn't fall. One day the SEC was bound the fall.

I'm not referring to outsiders in that post. I am speaking about the SEC members (specifically West) who are celebrating each others loses like they are superbowl victories.

I didn't want LSU to lose to ND; hated they got cheated.
I didn't want Ole Miss to lose to TCU; hated they were destoryed.
I didn't want State to lose to GT; hated they weren't prepared.
I didn't want even Auburn to lose to Wisconsin; it hurts how people see Alabama.

As a Bammer, I tremendously hated the fact we lost to a team I detest (OSU) who literally have some of the worst fans on the planet.

None of those losses helped us. They hurt us badly. Those who are celebrating those losses will be the same ones about us their team not getting any respect next year and the years after.

They won't either.

Meh. It was 21-13 heading into the 4th.

You didn't put Ohio State away when you had the chance and have to live with the egg on y'inz face now.

Now everybody and their brother thinks the SEC is overrated. And that will be reflected in the polls and future playoff choices. You just watch.

What the SEC ever do without Bama being perceived as #1?

Give me a break.

I do detest a team that makes up national championships and then infiltrates the SEC with all of their graduates. SO when Bama pisses away a chance to break into real double digit championships (recognized by national polls) in the first college football playoff, that is priceless. That and no team has better crying fan photos. After living in Bama for 7 years, it's great to be back home away from those slack jawwed, drooling, close-set-eyed necks.

Yes, loved every minute, I knew not having an SEC officiating crew would make things difficult for the Gumps.

Do you think the rest of the country knows this? LSU had Bama on the ropes this year until the laundry started flying. 2 and goal at the 5 to ice the game. REC call made. 15 yards and the ref is 10K richer. Fuk the SEC.

Yes, lol @ all the LSU fans. Alabama is among the handful of most prestigious programs in the country along with USC, Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. These programs will frequently be able to pull off what OSU did this year by sneaking into the playoff over other equally worthy teams like TCU. LSU, on the other hand, is not one of those programs. The SEC's downfall may very easily come back to bite the corndogs in the arse, and the meltdown will be epic.

Programs like Ohio State and Alabama do, and should get the benefit of the doubt, but Ohio State didn't sneak into the playoff. They earned their way in over TCU and Baylor. TCU had no business being in the discussion. They beat no one. Sure they had the better loss, but that loss was to Baylor. Beating Ole Miss was not impressive, and Ohio State's win over Bama destroys that argument anyways.

Baylor had more of a claim to the playoff than TCU did, which wasn't much. Their only win worth mentioning was TCU, and their loss was worse than Ohio State's. Michigan State also put that argument to rest. Both teams were also riding the high of beating a criminally overrated Oklahoma team.

The Big 12 needs to get a title game, or they're going to see more of this in the future, and deservedly so.
