I wouldn't say happy. I only cared about our game yesterday and we lost. I guess it was some consolation they lost too but I don't care enough to have it make my day or anything

I realize its cool to hate on people who have conference pride, and to you I say go frick yourselves. I love the SEC and root for almost every other school in the conference during bowl season. Except Auburn. frick them.

I can't believe Urban Meyer is going to surpass Saban as the new "best coach ever".

I never pull for Bama - but thats part of being an AU fan - if you do - then your kind of.... weird.

A lot of auburn fans are kind of weird. It's just something about them, their sense of entitlement for their People's Championship National Championship.

I was but didn't care too much. Ole Miss already beat them and didn't have to live vicariously through A big 10 team like other fanbases.

I just wish recruits would start to take note of Kick Six, Bad Game Bobbed and Urbanized in the Dome back-to-back years..

And that Bama's endless #1 recruiting class carte blanche slow it's roll. The dynasty is stalled, the luster tarnished.

Getting every damn player you want with impunity, only to bury so many on the sidelines, just shouldn't happen so easily.

Hopefully, the kids wake up.

I said it before the game:

If 'Bama was going to lose, I would rather them lose to Oregon.

The reason should be obvious.

Nah, let it be Urban, who after winning vs CNS in 08, was then beaten down in 09.

Now, winning with his 3rd string Frosh QB, in just 2nd start, if OSU takes down Oregon outright, Urban is right back on the heels of Saban for title of best HC of this generation..

When recently all the talk was Saban making a run at best HC of alltime vs Bear, Joepa, Bobby, Knute, Wilkinson, Dr Tom, Switzer,etc..

Still, I'm pulling for Uncle Phil to win one before the grim reaper comes calling, Oregon has flirted for 15 years, they deserve one. Helfrich win one for Bellotti and Kelly.

sounds like something a gump fan would do. Maybe the cripple isn't a serious enough bama fan.

Trying to catchup with all the post. So Alabama is still excited about Saban? If so then he was born to the SEC from LSU, hence LSU is his mother! So Les is Saban's brother from the same SEC mother? Same lifetime at each school? Decline for both? Geaux Tigers!!

Yes, loved every minute, I knew not having an SEC officiating crew would make things difficult for the Gumps.

Be careful what you wish for. If the SEC goes down hill, LSU might find themselves on the outside looking in one day when the committee makes its decision regarding who gets into the playoffs. Just ask 2004 Auburn how that feels.

I don't really give a damn if Bama won or lost, but it was bad for the SEC.

The West bowl meltdown has ruined the SEC's air of invincibility for the forseeable future, meaning people aren't going to so willingly buy that the SEC is a gauntlet. Meaning the SEC may not get the benefit of the doubt in an AP ranking or a playoff decision.

It for sure means the SEC won't be getting two teams in the playoff any time soon.

LSU is going to be one of the schools that the downgrading of the SEC probably impacts the most.

If all that makes you happy, enjoy.

Bama losing is good. Bama out of the playoff in first round is great.
