The excuses made on this board regarding some players are laughable. Prior to that Uf game all we heard on here was that VH3 was the next Neon Deon. He is without question the best corner in the game. Cooper shits on him and the rest of the Uf defense and now they were never that great to begin with. Cooper only dominated because the best corner in CFB forgot about him. He only made plays because he was wide open.

They say...can he keep that up though? Do you not think he's going to get his 10-12 touches per game? He is a VITAL part of our offense and that's not going to change...you can't stop our running game therefore we're going to have Coop making your DB's look like HS players.

They'll do anything to downplay our players. Cooper is on pace to have the single greatest receiving season in CFB history.

yeah you didnt really watch the game then
5 catches for 51 yards and 1 TD when H2H with VH3.

Yeah bro. Total ownage with 10 yards a reception.

Or are you one of the window lickers who thinks it's VH3's fault Cooper catches a 80 yard bomb when UF was in zone coverage and VH3 wasn't even lined up over Cooper?

We do have several formations which split Howard outside, just haven't shown it yet.

we've shown it a few times, just havent gone to OJ much out of that look (or any look). Sims did hit him on a quick out when he was lined up wide and OJ ran for about 12 yards. Pretty sure that was a presnap hot read because the DB was so far off of OJ.

the stats were posted, genius. not my fault you don't understand how defense works. this isn't the backyard where you play man2man every play.

Cooper beat him in man on a 30 yard vertical route that was called back because someone lined up too far in the backfield. More times than not when they went 1-on-1 it was clear that Cooper was the better player.

Yea that was a penalty and doesn't go towards the stats, but it doesn't change the fact that the two were on an island and Cooper ran right by him for a big gain.
