We shall see. Our defense is usually very aggressive and flies around the field looking to remove heads from bodies. At the same time, this can lead to people being out of position. I have seen a lot of most of our D so I feel like I know what they will do but we still have not seen a lot of Sims, especially against good teams, so I feel kinda like there is an element of the unknown so far with Bama's offense.

I wouldn't laugh off our safeties either. Prewitt is an All American and Saban seemed to think that Tony Connor was pretty good.

You can not say that. I was at that game. 80% of the time he was LEFT uncovered. It wasn't a great move he put on Hargreaves or a show of skill, they just flat out forgot him most of the game.

Our safeties are some of the best in the country so Cooper's straightline speed and skill in space will be greatly utilized, I feel.

I am no offensive coordinator, but I would be surprised to see Cooper making tons of plays in the middle of the field where Prewitt and Conner will be lurking.

Cooper is a matchup nightmare and a mega talent. The only things I can positively drum up about facing him is that Senquez has looked much improved and Coop isnt 6'4 or taller (Senquez is 5'9).

Conner will not be on Coop. And Prewitt, while a good player, isn't VH3.

Every year the same thing from Ole Miss... every year the same results.

I'm sure Kiffin can find a way to scheme OJ Howard on Golson.

And we still won't throw to him.

Im sure there will be many situations where our field corner is covering your TE

We do have a 5'8 and 5'11 OLB's though

That's where those safeties come into play

It isn't something that the D does on purpose when it happens.

And I was mostly kidding.

Fun fact: The SEC top three in passes defended per game is:

1) Hargreaves
2) Golson
3) Hilton

Two of those guys play for Ole Miss. And, as they are prone to bragging about, their safeties are also very good.

Ole Miss has a very good secondary. Perhaps they are a bit undisciplined (as some have noted), and Cooper's height and speed is a matchup nightmare for any team.

Should be interesting.

Be weary, we said this about MSU

Bama/Ole Miss game has been very similar to LSU/MSU in the last couple of decades. And this game is at Ole Miss where they will have gameday for the first time. I wouldn't be cocky.

Golson has a tendency to get caught peeking and if he does that against any Bama receivers we are fricked

Have plenty of respect for Ole Miss. Should be a great game. Their defense played well against us last season. And the game at their place helps them. Still, I like our chances.

It could happen. Howard lines up at WR sometimes. You don't want to cover him with a LB out there. Kiffin has a lot of toys to play with and he's done a good job creating matchup problems.

Coop already faced the best DB he will see all year and worked him like a rented mule.

Hargreaves III is a media creation. He's a solid player and all but the hype is overblown.

We will line up Tony on him if he's split wide. He plays our LB/S hybrid.

Breh I need to find a ticket. I usually luck into one but haven't had that opportunity yet.
