i love a thread where someone of a rival team makes a post to be convinced of something about the other team, when he knows for a fact that no matter what is said will be disregarded as "Homerism" by the other teams fans.

They also have the SAME SECONDAY that caused SABAN to go nuts on the sideline, yet you hear analyst saying they are the best in college football,....I'D PUT OUR SECONDARY UP AGAINST ANYBODYS IN THE COUNTRY...time will tell....

Bama was the media darling all last season. Before Mallett threw in the towel against you guys every mag in the country was saying there was Bama then every one else. You guys were playing on a different level. You won 24-20 and proceeded to get beat soundly by USCe the following week. Then to close out the season you lost to Jordan Jefferson and the offensively challenged and finally choked a giant donkey against Auburn. Up that much at the half and you couldn't win :)

You finished in the AP top 10 because the media loved you all last year (despite three SEC losses which DOES put you in fourth in the west) and a dominant bowl performance. You were the highest rated three loss team because they love you. Just like Oklahoma was the highest rated 2 loss team, the media loves them. Oklahoma barely beat a horrible Texas team last year, lost to A&M, and avoided Nebraska. They looked like crap in their bowl but still won because they finished up the year of a weak schedule by playing a horrible bowl opponent..

The last BCS numbers had us ahead of you. We had the same number of losses as you, but lost to better teams than you by your own metric(we both lost to AU, OSU finished higher than LSU, and you guys finished way higher than USCe). While you finished at 10, we finished at 11...big freaking difference.
