I agree, but Rabern was the one who brought up mythical preseason polls that all had Mizzou ranked higher.

It is surprising how little momentum Missouri's nice season last year seems to be getting them. Looks like it may be relatively low expectations for them again this year in the national media.

Classic message board back-pedal maneuver: resort to technicalities.

That's not how it works chief. YOU are the one claiming "top to bottom" missouri is better, as if you are familiar with both teams at every position. But apparently you can't do that, so no...you can't claim that "top to bottom" missouri is better than us.

I can claim it without listing every player just like you can claim I am wrong without listing every player. Preseason rankings also say Missouri should be better than UGA.

I can just as easily point to reasons why we will be better than missouri this year as you can say "well you lost murray!!". That's basically all you can point to.
You can make all the excuses for the loss you want but UGA never looked great last year and you don't take away your most important player and become great.

Well your whole team's plane could go down in a fiery crash. Will it? Doubtful, but you can't say it won't.

Well its alot more likely a player that got hurt and missed multiple games will get hurt again than a team's plane crashing.

Roof won a title because one of the 4or 5 best players in the entire history of the SEC singlehandedly won them about half their games.
Yeah but its not possible that Pruitt won a NC because talent and playing weak teams. He didn't stop Auburn with FSU's talent and UGA is a big drop off and plays alot better teams, including Auburn.

James Franklin leaving and the fact that they only got to Atl bec UGA and UF had an amazing number of injuries and USC pissed away the East.

It showed in the SECCG as well.

Preseason rankings I've seen have UGA top 15 and even top 10 and Missouri not even ranked. Not that they matter at all, but why do keep referring to them when they say exactly the opposite of what you are claiming?

You keep saying this, but haven't provided any basis for this assertion.

They aren't great but no one on here knows what is going to happen next year. But they do show that unbiased people think Mizzou should be better than UGA next year, which is what this whole conversation has been about.

You have to just be doing this on purpose at this point, right?

Which ones? This is the 2nd time I've asked you for a link.

UGA never looked great last year

I"m not even going to keep responding to your points, because you clearly don't know a single thing about UGA last year.

I'm not saying they're mythical because they aren't perfect. I'm saying I don't think polls that say Missouri is ranked higher than Georgia exist. I think you made that up.

I don't care. I don't expect a UGA fan to not say they are going to be great and make a lot of excuses for why they wasn't afterwards.

Mizzou did not have to play the same UGA team we had to at the beginning of the season.

Well, I'll be damned. There is one that has Missouri up there ahead of UGA. Most of the ones I had seen didn't even have them listed.

Would you look at that? Some basis for your argument. Well done.

If you could produce more rankings, you'd really be in business.

Indeed. Looks like a lot of people have them pretty close right now. Average ranking of those in that link is right around 15th for both of them (if you give Missouri a "26th" position for the poll that doesn't have them ranked).

Its funny you say this. We didn't have our most important player when we played Mizzou last year. It was the biggest reason why we lost that game.
