If they are all playing today then I agree with you.

I'm just saying....

Fournette said Chubb is better than he is, it's settled. Herschel said Fournette is better, it's also settled.

The hierarchy has been set, I guess Bo is on top since he doesn't say anyone is better.

What wasn't civil about my post? You're the definition of a homer. That's not debatable. Wether you are trolling or an idiot too I'll never know for sure, but I would bet it's the latter.

Pre-injury, they were 1a and 1b. The order, interchangeable.

Post injury, I am unsure.

I have to assume Nick has SOME level of degradation due to injury.

Assuming that, Chubb is no longer on Leonard's level.

Depending on the severity of the injury effects, I'd have to say Chubb ranges from 2nd to 6th best back.

Here's to hoping he has a monster, and healthy, year.

Guice didn't get enough carries for that to be a meaningful stat. Nc and lf did.
Oh fuch you. Cherry picking d-bag. What's the magic number that you set for it to qualify?

[quote]Yards per game[quote] Oh cool, the stat that Leonard led the nation in. But wait does Chubb qualify? What's the ruling on how many games?

I, for one, am shocked that an LSU player would lead in a poll where LSU fans outnumber everyone else at least 3:1. SHOCKED!

I am seriously surprised Chubb got as many upvotes as he did though.

Far more than the 4 carries he got per game. It's not cherry picking to acknowledge what's meaningful or not.

It's a career comparison with plenty of carries per game, thus its meaningful and relevant.

I do not care who is better. I am just glad we have Chubb and a pretty good stable of RBs behind him. Fournette is a beast as well and may very well win the Heisman.

Seems pretty simple to me. 2014 Chubb was better. 2015 LF was better. Chubb didn't get a full season, but LF was still better. 2016 we will see, but all honest projections favor LF. Chubb's recovery may not be 100% and LF will be running with a lot to prove.

For the record, Lf was 0.2 ypc better through September 2015, which is far from a meaningful difference, and that's before we consider bama being one of chubbs opponents.

Unfortunately, "better" is very subjective. Last year, Henry was "better" than LF because he had more total yards. LF had more yds/game and carry, but Henry was "better." Now LF has more yards than Chubb, but Chubb is "better" because yds/carry.

"Total yards" might turn the needle with the media types who lack the ability to analyze stats on a deeper level, but I would rather not stoop to their level. I guess homers who argue otherwise get a pass for being homers.
